Physical Appearance: Hera's act of sin is envy and therefore she is a jealous person who often is changing her appearance. Her current appearance in Asylum however is a tousled look, her hair a dark shade of red, so red it's enough to look like blood in some light and orange in others. Her thick hair falls just below her shoulders, bangs cut to frame around her brilliant green eyes and the side of her face. (See picture for idea.) Hera formerly had beautiful sea-green eyes but she wore colored contacts so much and different colors that her eyes eventually changed to a green color. Hera's body stands at a full five feet and 5 inches, a moderate height but lingering more on the short side. Her body is slender and curvy but muscular.
Personality: Jealousy- Honey, green is so not your color.
Hera brings a new meaning to the word envy. She goes to the extremity of murder and torture and identity theft. Hera is also known for getting back at others she is a bomb just waiting to explode. Another trait Hera has that makes her herself is the fact that she is horridly oblivious; she does not see her own beauty or thoughts of others towards herself. instead she has a never-ending self-hate that causes her to often pity herself and wish she was others. The young woman has a garrulous nature that always shows up at the worst of times.
Conduct disorder is a psychiatric category to describe a pattern of repetitive behavior where the rights of others or the current social norms are violated. Symptoms include verbal and physical aggression, cruel behavior toward people and pets, destructive behavior, lying, truancy, vandalism, and stealing. Conduct disorder is a major public health problem because youth with conduct disorder not only inflict serious physical and psychological harm on others, but they are at greatly increased risk for incarceration, injury, depression, substance abuse, and death by homicide and suicide.
History: Hera's life was full of neglect. As a young child she was locked away in a closet wile her single mother went off partying. This turned into Hera's self-hate because she figured that her mother was ashamed of her. That she didn't ant anything to do with her when others were around. Hera would often get fed little things such as a piece of bread and her only way to get water was to scrape away the chips of ice along the edge of the mini-freezer placed in the closet with her and wait for it to melt. When she was 11 her mother got married and when she would go out with the girls the man would beat Hera's body and would molest her. Some think this is partially why she became bisexual. At 15 Hera discovered she was bisexual and at 17 she found out just how much fun rape was when he took advantage of a drunk girl at a party. And at the age of 18 Hera started to kidnap women and would lock them up in her cellar, tying their hands with wire above their heads, feet chained to the floor and spread apart. They were always chained this way naked. She would torture the women and molest the women, shave their heads and make wigs out of it disguising herself as the woman. Then she would go out and kill the people most important to the woman then burn the wig and carve up the skin of the woman she had stolen the identity from. She would often write things such as 'Murderer' 'Sunset as red as blood' and more all across the woman's body deep enough to scar.
She did this many many times until she was caught and thrown into Asylum.
Asylum 29 is a semi-literate to advanced roleplaying site. We're a small but active site; our members are incredibly tight-knitted and friendly.
Setting
Ever hear of the Waverly Hills Sanitarium in Kentucky? Asylum 29 is a modern day high security facility whose grounds are based on the historic supposedly haunted buildings. The exterior is beautiful, built on a twenty acre plot of ground. It is surrounded by a fifty foot high concrete fence, topped with barbed wire, with guard towers emerging from it every 100 feet or so. The massive gate is an olden style wrought iron behemoth, guarded twenty-four seven by guards armed with semi-automatic handguns, tazers, and nightsticks. The buildings include an auditorium, a cafeteria, and a main hospital. There is a large outdoor field where the more socially adept patients are sometimes allowed to roam.. under the watchful eye of armed guards, of course. The men and women have seperate holding facilities, but are allowed to mingle during 'recess.' It tends to run smoothly when the patients are heavily medicated. ~ To sum it up for you: Asylum 29 is a mental facility roleplaying site. Don't like it, don't join. But we hope you will. ^^
