Anyway, nobody will probably read this and if they do prolly just laugh and not do it, but i figured it was worth a shot to suggest ^^
Halloween be coming up (as is Carve's and my b-days!) and so I figured why not have a little Asylum costume contest? You may start laughing here. Any costume's good, just wear it, get a pic, and post it. Now how bout another costume contest along with that one?
Yes! A charrie costume contest!!! No, your charrie's won't be wearing costumes (though they can if they wish) You see, YOU dress up as one of your charries and show us a pic. We vote and see who did the best job at it. Little fun twist to a costume contest, no?
Rules:
Normal Costume Contest ~Must be in constume (duh) ~Must put a picture of you in your costume by November 7th (one week after Halloween) ~Tell us what you were incase it's not obvious
Charrie Costume Contest ~Submission date it the same (November 7th) ~Can be dressed however you wish but it MUST be one of your characters (doesn't have to be in Asylum or any of the other sites) ~Tell us which charrie it is, along with what spin you took (Like mine! Zombie Carver!!! ^^ spoiler only cause some know it already. But the other spin to it shall be a surprise to those who don't know it so hahaha!)
Simple rules, no? And to think I only thought this hopefully fun idea cause of my costume AND cause I hope it'll bring some life back onto this place x.x
I'll get on more, promise. And hope to see whoever's left here least do the normal costume contest (or both!!!) HAVE FUN WITH IT!
Asylum 29 is a semi-literate to advanced roleplaying site. We're a small but active site; our members are incredibly tight-knitted and friendly.
Setting
Ever hear of the Waverly Hills Sanitarium in Kentucky? Asylum 29 is a modern day high security facility whose grounds are based on the historic supposedly haunted buildings. The exterior is beautiful, built on a twenty acre plot of ground. It is surrounded by a fifty foot high concrete fence, topped with barbed wire, with guard towers emerging from it every 100 feet or so. The massive gate is an olden style wrought iron behemoth, guarded twenty-four seven by guards armed with semi-automatic handguns, tazers, and nightsticks. The buildings include an auditorium, a cafeteria, and a main hospital. There is a large outdoor field where the more socially adept patients are sometimes allowed to roam.. under the watchful eye of armed guards, of course. The men and women have seperate holding facilities, but are allowed to mingle during 'recess.' It tends to run smoothly when the patients are heavily medicated. ~ To sum it up for you: Asylum 29 is a mental facility roleplaying site. Don't like it, don't join. But we hope you will. ^^
